Peterborough Model Railway Exhibition 2011

This is my video log coming from the various Model Railway designs that had been inside a Peterborough Model Railway Exhibition 2011 affair this current year. Thanks goes toward all model railway clubs that granted me full permission to film their fantastic designs. I think I have mostly filmed N determine layouts as there wasn’t many OO determine model railways to film but I did find a way to film a bout a O determine trains and also which can be impressive for detail and size. You will discover quite a few contemporary image designs in N gauge I always found really impressive these as Shaweport, Dragonby and Newcastle-by-the-Water. Well extremely effective layouts shown in such an order of the video. Uppingham: EM Determine.

This layout is rather a classic one as construction launched some 35 years back. It might be with different segment with all the Rugby – Peterborough line can be placed in across the early 1900’s which therefore can make it a steam era layout. Sadly though, nothing was powered the design. Liked Working Out just briefly filmed the scenery and then moved on. Shaweport: N Gauge This modern image design is placed in a very mid-1990’s all the way through to provide day businesses and contains a high density of train traffic ranging from DMU’s to HST’s together with various forms of Cargo to help things interesting. This layout has never one 2 republican senators N gauge Class 92’s are actually from CJM models. Different cargo was hauled by Dapol Class 66’s, Graham Farish Class 60’s, Dapol Class 58 with Passenger trains with Class 90’s, Class 87’s and Class 86’s with DMU’s including the Class 150 …

They were all very impressive!? Thanks for sharing!

MrRicboo says:

Many thanks for the comments on the class 60 in DB schenker, I resprayed? this for the owner of dragonby from a Mainline liveried 60, I also completed the db 67 on the layout as well and i weathered the rake of monsterboxes seen in the video. I am not a professional, but like to tinker, it is good to see your positive feedback about this. many thanks Richard boothby

EWS60008 says:

@MrRicboo: No problem mate. I really like the work on that 60011 you have done. Also well done on the 67 and the aforementioned wagons as well. I am hoping to get a OO gauge model of 60011 in? November as well. I was going to be getting a customised Hornby one this month but someone messed up the order, so I got a refund and I should be getting one done by Peak Dale Works next month once he has cleared the backlog of DB 60007’s he is undertaking at the moment. Do you do commissioned work?

MrRicboo says:

Hi I do do commisions, both resprays? and weathering, and try to be realistic witht he costs as well as, many thanks Richard

EWS60008 says:

@MrRicboo: Thats brilliant mate. If you are? interested, I was wondering if you would be interested in doing a model of 60011 for me in N gauge or OO gauge? Feel free to PM me with more info if you like mate.

MrRicboo says:

if you? can add me to your freinds list i can send you the message, its just blocked me

cheers Richard

EWS60008 says:

@MrRicboo: Yes mate, I will do. Sorry for the roundabouts, the reason I only allow friends to message me is because I had? problems with spam and I have to restrict PM’s for friend’s only. I will send out an invite to you, sorry about this.

Nice vid?

EWS60008 says:

@DWFAtrainfan: I? know is a long video, but I like to keep everything in the one clip to keep my channel tidy. But I am glad you like the footage mate.

EWS60008 says:

@hovermotion: Thanks mate.?

jamescooling says:

great vid, dragonby? looks fantastic. not a fan of n guage though. not as detailed as oo imo

EWS60008 says:

@jamescooling: Thanks. I like N and OO gauge to be honest mate. But Dapol have let me down a couple of times so its put me off N gauge in? some ways.

MMODoubter says:

I much prefer the way you have done it. One long video is? better than a bunch of short ones.

EWS60008 says:

@MMODoubter: Thanks mate. I prefer to keep all the footage as one video as then other users that filmed the event will most likely have? a higher chance of their content being shown in the search result better.

njchuck1 says:

you dont? see trains like that in the usa

EWS60008 says:

Very true but I do like the? US locomotives like the Dash 9 and the F40PH.

ModernNGauge says:

Wow. Great video! Thanks very? much!

EWS60008 says:

No problem! Glad you like the video mate.?

Thank you for the kind words and I am glad to hear that you? enjoyed the video mate.

OfficialHaus says:

The detail in these model setups are amazing, how much would you say (a good guess) would the whole set up at like 4 minutes cost, so the scenery, the trains,? the track, bridges, cars, trucks.everything in that bit?

Darren Johnson says:

hi? i like your trane at the start , how do u get it to do that (forwords and backword ?? plz can u let me know like to do it on my new model railway plz email me back thank you

thetrainman343a says:

check? out my channel for my layout update vids!

EWS60008 says:

Hi there,

I also like that N gauge model railway as well mate. As for the price, the EWS Class 92 which is made by? CJM models would cost you a minimum of £400 plus £50 for each end to be detailled. To build an impressive layout like that. I think you would be looking at around £3000 or thereabouts for this project. Hope this helps.

EWS60008 says:

Hi Darren,

Gaugemaster make an automated train “shuttle” kit which is ideal for a tram and a light railway train with no input by the user as the AI controls the timing sequence and the current polarity. Hope? this helps.

Ash

EWS60008 says:

Will do, thanks for the mention. I like to see how? fellow modellers are doing with their layouts and also learn a new tip ot to from them as well. Is your layout modern or classic? It doesn’t matter either way, I am just curious.

thetrainman343a says:

its based in? ww2 steam and slightly diesel

Darren Johnson says:

thak yu ash for getting ack? to me thanks agen =)

Darren Johnson says:

thank you ash for getting bk to me nice 1 keep up the very good? work m8t

EWS60008 says:

Ah? cool, I would like to see the progress of this mate.

Ash.

EWS60008 says:

No problem mate, I’m glad I could help? out.

Ash.

EWS60008 says:

No? problem mate.

thetrainman343a says:

yeah , waiting to buy some more ground cover and then i will? make another review !

chris

thetrainman343a says:

i? subscribed 2 u!

EWS60008 says:

Thanks mate, its appreciated.?

EWS60008 says:

Excellent, If you need any help with advice on wiring for the signals and track etc. Give me a toot and? I will try and help if I can.

Ash.

c0Nn0Rsts94 says:

Wow the put the models on display without a sheet of plastic? What about the kids who? just can’t help but touch as the train passes by?

EWS60008 says:

No need to worry mate. Security is fairly tight and there is a barrier in front of most layouts with about a metre gap distance. So even I had? to zoom in with the camera to close in the distance.
